The Rohtak police in Haryana arrested two people in connection with an extortion plan that targeted a business owner of an industrial store in Bada Bazar.
On September 28, the victim, Rajesh, received a menacing phone call from a caller who introduced himself as Amit and demanded a stunning Rs. 65 lakhs while threatening violence.
The next day, after acting swiftly, the authorities arrested the suspects, Amit and Anish, and later brought them before the court for legal proceedings.
The video of the operation, which went viral on social media, shows the police car colliding with a car before the suspects are taken into custody.
