Bulldozer Action Under Chief Administrator’s Orders
The operation, which was part of the “Remove Encroachments” campaign, was carried out, according to the specifics, at the order of Ajit Balaji Joshi, Chief Administrator of the Haryana Urban Development Authority. Sanjeev Kumar, a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), was also there. While this was happening, several local women made an effort to oppose the incursion drive. The skirmishes, which started on July 31 in Nuh over an attempt to halt a Vishva Hindu Parishad parade and extended to Gurugram over the following several days, claimed the lives of six people, including two home guards and a cleric.
