Haryana Violence: The violence started after a mob pelted stones at the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s visit on July 31 in Haryana’s Nuh. After this attack, the violence increased from Nuh to the districts of Mewat like Gurugram, Palwal. Six people were killed in the violence, while there was a huge loss of life and property. The hearing of this matter is going on in the Supreme Court. The court said in the comment that provocative speeches have been given by any side, we completely reject it. The hearing of the case has been done by the bench of Justice Sanjeev Khanna and Justice SVN Bhatti. Now the next hearing on this matter will be on August 25. The Supreme Court also said that provocative speeches may have been given by any side, we will take them seriously.
Supreme Court’s important comment on the lawyer’s argument
During the hearing in the Supreme Court, a lawyer had given information about provocative slogans raised against Hindus at the Muslim League rally in Kerala. Commenting on this, the bench said that provocative speech has been given by any side, we will take action on it. Hate speech is not acceptable at any level. Social media posts and videos have played a big role in inciting Nuh violence. Police investigation has revealed that rumors and inflammatory content were posted on these platforms.
The court also said that appropriate action will be taken against anyone who has given hate speech. In the last few times, the court has also shown strictness on many other matters on hate speech and posting hateful posts on social media. Hate speech and inflammatory videos on social media have also been a major reason for the spread of Nuh violence. After the rumor of Monu Manesar’s participation in the Shobha Yatra, violence had spread on a large scale in Nuh.

In this violence, a total of 6 people including 2 Home Guard jawans and a Maulvi were killed. It has been said in the police investigation that preparations were made for the violence in advance and some people had come from other districts. The Khattar government has also taken bulldozer action on the miscreants.
