Atal Bihari Vajpayee Death Anniversary – On the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini paid tribute to the late leader and announced significant initiatives for the state’s farmers and the dairy sector. Speaking to the media, CM Saini outlined several measures taken by the Haryana cabinet to support farmers and milk sellers, and to improve veterinary services.
“I pay tribute to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary. His vision and leadership continue to inspire us,” said CM Saini.
As part of the initiatives, the Haryana cabinet has decided to grant a bonus of ₹2,000 per acre to farmers cultivating Kharif crops. This move is aimed at providing financial assistance and encouragement to the agricultural community. The first installment of this bonus, amounting to ₹525 crore, has been released and will benefit thousands of farmers across the state.
“Today, the first installment of ₹525 crore has been released as a bonus to farmers on Kharif crops in Haryana,” announced the Chief Minister. “This initiative is a step towards ensuring the well-being of our farmers and boosting agricultural productivity.”
In addition to the bonus for farmers, CM Saini announced the opening of veterinary polyclinics in several districts, including Panchkula, Kaithal, Karnal, Hisar, Jhajjar, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Yamuna Nagar. These polyclinics are expected to provide advanced veterinary services and improve the overall health and welfare of livestock in the state.
“Veterinary polyclinics will be opened in key districts to offer comprehensive services for animal health,” said CM Saini. “This will not only benefit the farmers but also ensure the well-being of their livestock.”
Furthermore, the Chief Minister announced that milk sellers who deliver milk from door to door will be brought under the Dayalu scheme. This initiative aims to provide better support and recognition to the milk sellers, who play a crucial role in the state’s dairy supply chain.
“The milk sellers who deliver milk from door to door will be included under the Dayalu scheme,” said CM Saini. “This will help in streamlining their operations and provide them with the necessary assistance and facilities.”
These announcements by the Haryana government are part of a broader effort to strengthen the agricultural and dairy sectors in the state, ensuring that farmers and milk sellers receive the support and resources they need to thrive.
As Haryana moves forward with these initiatives, the government is hopeful that these measures will lead to improved agricultural output, better livestock health, and a more robust dairy sector, contributing to the overall development of the state.
