Haryana Assembly Election 2024: In the lead-up to the upcoming elections in Haryana, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha expressed optimism about the potential for a seat-sharing agreement between AAP and Congress. Following a meeting with Deepak Babaria, the AICC in charge of Haryana, Chadha stated on Sunday that both parties have a shared desire and hope to form an alliance.
Positive Atmosphere in Ongoing Talks
Speaking to reporters, Chadha mentioned that a decision on the alliance is expected before September 12, the final day for filing nominations. He emphasized that the discussions are ongoing in a positive atmosphere and that the outcome will be beneficial for Haryana, the country, and democracy.
“I do not want to comment on individual seats or personal statements. Both parties have a desire for an alliance, and we hope for a win-win situation. If we cannot agree, we will move on,” Chadha said, indicating that the decision is still under negotiation.

Chadha affirmed that the talks are progressing well and expressed confidence in a favorable outcome. “Good discussions are happening. I am confident that a positive conclusion will be reached in the interest of Haryana, the nation, and democracy. I cannot share details at this stage, but we hope to soon provide good news to the public,” he added.
Earlier Remarks Signal Optimism
This statement followed Chadha’s remarks on Saturday, where he expressed hope for finalizing the alliance after a meeting with Congress leaders, signaling the parties’ shared optimism about working together in the upcoming elections.
