Haryana Assembly Election 2024: Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda on Sunday criticized the Congress party, accusing it of promoting poor governance, corruption, and criminal activities. Speaking at a public rally in Rohtak, Haryana, Nadda claimed that under Congress rule, large industrialists exploited impoverished farmers, and the state faced rampant unemployment and corruption.

Nadda highlighted the “Kharchi, Parchi” system, where jobs were allegedly distributed unfairly, leaving deserving students unemployed. He also pointed to widespread land scams, where wealthy individuals seized lands from poor farmers during Congress’s tenure in Haryana. According to Nadda, Congress engages in vote bank politics, creating divisions among communities and castes for electoral gains.

Rajnath Singh Joins Criticism of Congress and AAP

Joining the criticism, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh targeted both Congress and AAP for failing to deliver on their promises. Singh claimed that under Congress rule, Haryana’s condition deteriorated, and accused Rahul Gandhi of disrespecting India on international platforms. He urged the public not to trust either Congress or AAP, asserting that neither party has worked for the state’s welfare.

The BJP leaders’ remarks are part of the party’s ongoing campaign to highlight Congress’s alleged failures ahead of upcoming elections in the state.
