Haryana News: The Haryana government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, has announced a significant initiative to ensure housing for all. In the first phase, approximately 15,200 plots will be allocated through a draw in 14 cities. This initiative is a part of the Chief Minister Urban Housing Scheme aimed at providing adequate housing facilities to the residents of Haryana.
Key Highlights:
- Plot Allocation: The allocation of plots will be conducted via a draw on June 24, 2024. This will include applicants from various categories who booked their plots in February 2024.
- Cities Involved: The cities where the plot allocation will take place include Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Jhajjar, Julana, Pinjore, Mahendragarh, Safidon, Sirsa, Gohana, Jagadhri, and Rewari.
- Special Categories: In Palwal and Rohtak, the draw will be specifically for applicants from nomadic tribes, widow categories, and scheduled castes. Similarly, in Karnal, the draw will be for applicants from nomadic tribes and the widow category.
- Process: The draw will be conducted at the respective municipal councils/corporations/offices in each city.
