Haryana News: A harrowing tale has emerged of a Haryana youth who found himself ensnared in a fraudulent job scheme that led him to unwittingly join the Russian army. Mukesh, who managed to return to India after being deceived with a fake job offer, revealed the nightmare that began when he left India last year. Initially promised a work permit in Germany by agents facilitating overseas jobs, Mukesh was instead sent to Bangkok and eventually to Russia.

Upon arrival in Russia, Mukesh found himself without legal immigration documents and was apprehended by the Russian army. Given an ultimatum to either join the army or face imprisonment, Mukesh and several other Indians chose the latter option. Subsequently, they were incarcerated before eventually being granted bail and deported back to India.
