Haryana Weather Update: The ongoing cold wave in Haryana and Punjab maintains its unyielding hold, as minimum temperatures continue to plummet below normal levels on Wednesday. Key locations in both states experienced a significant chill, with Ambala emerging as the coldest spot in Haryana.

Haryana Shivers: Ambala Records Bone-Chilling 3.4 Degrees Celsius

Ambala reported an exceptionally low minimum temperature of 3.4 degrees Celsius, earning the distinction of being the coldest place in Haryana, according to the Meteorological Department. In other parts of the state, Hisar recorded a chilly 5.8 degrees Celsius, while Sirsa and Bhiwani experienced temperatures of 5 degrees Celsius and 5.6 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Chandigarh Feels the Chill: Minimum Temperature Drops Further

Chandigarh, the common capital of Haryana and Punjab, witnessed a further drop in minimum temperature, settling at 3.6 degrees Celsius. This is notably lower than Tuesday’s reading of 6 degrees Celsius, signaling an intensification of the cold wave.

Punjab Braces Against Freezing Conditions

In Punjab, Gurdaspur and Bathinda bore the brunt of freezing cold, recording respective lows of 3 degrees and 3.4 degrees Celsius. Patiala experienced biting cold, registering a low of 3.6 degrees Celsius, while Ludhiana shivered at 4.1 degrees Celsius.
