Toll Rises with Fatalities, Destruction, and Lost Infrastructure

In Shimla, landslip occurrences resulted in 14 fatalities. Numerous rain-related incidents in Mandi resulted in at least 19 fatalities. On the other side, a cloudburst in Jadon village in the Solan district caused the deaths of seven members of the same family on Sunday night. After a cloudburst in the area, two homes were destroyed. At the same time, Hamirpur experienced four fatalities from torrential rains, and two more are still missing. The Sirmour district lost a boy. In several parts of Himachal Pradesh, landslides, cloud bursts, and other natural disasters have caused extensive destruction and harm. Regarding this, there is no information. The State Emergency Operation Centre reports that a total of 752 highways are shut at the same moment. The State Emergency Operation Centre estimates that the state has already lost Rs 7,171 crore. Let me inform you that as of June 24 there have been 283 fatalities and 304 injuries in Himachal Pradesh as a result of the current monsoon season.
