Uddhav Thackeray: The former Maharashtra chief minister remarked that this is not his personal struggle to hold the office of chief minister in his initial response to the Supreme Court decision that declared Uddhav Thackeray may have been reinstalled had he not resigned on Thursday. “My resignation might have been a mistake, but I don’t think so. At a joint press conference with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Uddhav said, “I am fighting for the people, for democracy, and for the people who support my father Balasaheb Thackeray.”
I’m not fighting for myself, I am fighting for my state–Uddhav Thackeray
‘I quit due to ethical reasons. People who received everything from the party afterwards turned traitors, and they demanded that I demonstrate the majority. In order to explain his resignation prior to the floor test,’ Thackeray stated, ‘I did not want to engage in it.’ Uddhav Thackeray stated, ‘Like I took a moral stand, they (Shinde and Fadnavis) should resign now. The Supreme Court stated that I would have likely been reinstated if I had not quit. I’m not fighting for myself, though. I am fighting for my state and my nation,’ Uddhav declared.

The Speaker will determine who is the true Shiv Sena
The Uddhav v. Shinde case was decided by the Supreme Court on Thursday, and both parties were pleased with the outcome. The Speaker will determine who is the true Shiv Sena, according to the Supreme Court, which did not invalidate the MLAs who joined the Shinde faction. The Shinde group, which uses the bow and arrow insignia, has already been acknowledged by the Election Commission as the legitimate Shiv Sena. The then-Gov. BS Koshyaru’s floor test was declared unlawful by the Supreme Court. The Uddhav side saw the floor test order as a jab at the current administration because it was that order that caused the Uddhav government to fall. Uddhav Thackeray could not be reinstalled as chief minister, the highest court ruled, because he had already resigned before the floor test.
