Jaipur News: Heavy Rainfall hit life of common man in the streets of Jaipur. Many areas face water-logging and jams all over. Due to the heavy downpour since Friday, the roads like Sikar Road and Jal mahal also submerged in water. Citizens face problems due to water logging in many low lying areas and roads. Roads like SMS Hospital, B2 Bypass, Jawahar Nagar, Vidyadhar Nagar etc. Rainwater also entered in the basement of Government Hospital in Gangauri Bazar.
Lots of Low Lying areas suffered water logging
The Rajasthan Minister visited the rain hit areas and inspected all the affected areas and instructed the officials to take possible steps to handle the situation and provide relief material wherever needed. The State Disaster Response Force is also on stand bye and will engage in rescue operations and relief work in all the affected areas. A lot of colonies in the low lying areas suffered water logging.
IMD Predicts more Rains in Jaipur and Bharatpur
IMD has predicted more rains in Jaipur and Bharatpur. People faced lots of problems due to the water logging especially during peak working hours in the morning. The authorities are using Mud Pumps to remove water from the low lying areas. Several cars and vehicles also broke down causing trouble for the commuters.
