Jammu and Kashmir Election– Uttarakhand Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Pushkar Singh Dhami, addressed an election rally in Samba, Jammu & Kashmir, where he emphasized the need to defeat the ideologies of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Congress, and the National Conference (NC). Dhami stated, “We have to defeat the thinking of PDP, Congress, and National Conference… This is the time to create history.”
Dhami’s remarks come as part of the BJP’s campaign efforts in Jammu & Kashmir, aiming to consolidate support and counter opposition parties. The rally was attended by a large gathering of supporters, reflecting the party’s push to make significant electoral gains in the region.
Call for Change and Development
In his speech, Dhami underscored the need for transformation in Jammu & Kashmir, urging voters to support the BJP’s vision for development, progress, and stability. He pointed to the BJP’s efforts in bringing infrastructure improvements and welfare programs to other states under its governance.
“We are not just here to win elections; we are here to change the fate of this region for the better. The time has come for Jammu & Kashmir to step into a new era of prosperity,” Dhami stated.
Criticism of Opposition’s Governance
Dhami also took aim at the governance of PDP, Congress, and National Conference, accusing them of holding the region back with their outdated policies and lack of vision. He argued that their leadership has been responsible for stagnation and inefficiency, stressing that the people of Jammu & Kashmir deserve better.
“We must reject the thinking that has led to underdevelopment and missed opportunities. Only the BJP can provide the strong leadership and clear direction needed to move forward,” Dhami added.
The rally marks a significant moment in the BJP’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its foothold in Jammu & Kashmir, as the party continues its outreach to various constituencies across the region.
