Jhansi News: Four people have lost lives and many injured after fire broke out in an Electronic Showroom in Jhansi. The three storey Electronics building was severely engulfed in fire and lots of people were trapped inside. Three people received serious injuries and were burnt inside the Showroom building. Police have managed to recover their bodies during the rescue operations. The female staff suffered major injuries was rushed to the hospital, she was later declared dead.
DM orders probe, cause of fire still unknown
The rescue operation went on for more than ten hours. The Jhansi District Magistrate has ordered an enquiry into the incident. According to the eyewitnesses, they heard the screams of the people and saw smoke coming out of the building, many people were seen running for help, and there was chaos all over. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Cops checking ‘Fire Safety’ Certificates of Shop Owners
Police said that the Paper work for the bodies will be done after we collect all the bodies from the spot. Police is also going through all the shops around the area, and will check if the shops have the required Fire Safety documents.
