Tragic End to Love Affair in Maharashtra: Medical Student Throws Girlfriend from Building, Resulting in Her Death

Satara Murder Case: A young medical student has died in a terrible event from the Satara region of Karad, Maharashtra, as the outcome of a love affair gone wrong. Arushi, a first-year medical student from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, died after being thrown off a high-rise building by her boyfriend, Dhruv Chikkar. Dhruv is also a first-year student at Krishna Medical College in Karad. He is from Sonipat, Haryana.

A Troubled Relationship

Before starting at Krishna Medical College, Arushi and Dhruv studied together in Delhi, where they developed a close bond. Although they remained close in Karad, their relationship was tarnished by mistrust and jealousy. Arushi and Dhruv, who were staying in a rented flat close to the institute, got into a violent altercation over claims that she was seeing another boy.

Fatal Confrontation

The dispute turned physical, resulting in injuries to both individuals; unfortunately, Dhruv pushed Arushi from the building, causing her immediate death.  Dhruv, who also injured his leg in the altercation, is being treated at a hospital.

Legal Proceedings

Following the incident, Arushi’s mother rushed to Karad. The police have filed a case against Dhruv Chikkar under Section 103 of the Indian Penal Code. Despite the serious charges, Dhruv has not yet been arrested.
