The city apparently has a shrine where couples come light up and offer a cigarette and ask for a wish. It is being claimed by many couples that their wish has been granted by baba and they come back to thank the baba.
Couples come back and offer Gratitude
The shrine has been managed by Mishrilal. He says that many couples come and offer prayers and pay their respects by offering Cigarattes, meat or liquor and ask for some intervention to solve their problem and make their relationship long lasting. There are many couples who come here and ask for marriage, and they visit again after getting married. It is said that no couple has ever felt disheartened after visiting the shrine.
Offer a Cigaratte and ask for a wish
The shrine is basically a temple for all the lovers. The shrine worships a british army captain Frederik Wells. According to Historians, he was killed during a war between britishers and freedom fighters. The captain liked cigarattes and hence its called ‘Cigaratte wale baba’
