Lucknow News: The special audit team of UP Power Corporation is going to take strict action against all those consumers who were found fiddling with the electricity bill. The special audit team of UP Power Corporation found some discrepancies while doing the audit of the bills. It is being found out that some consumers have made modifications in their bills. The incident is reported from the Chowk Khand of Lucknow city over ten years ago. The team is going to perform audits in areas like Thakur Ganj Residency, Aminabad and Hussainganj.
Consumers shocked after receiving the New Bill
When the residents of the Chowk Khand area were handed over the electricity bill with arrears they felt shocked and complaint that when they have been submitting their power bills regularly then why these arrears are added in their bills. Many consumers are also submitting application forms to the SDO ( Sub Divisional Officer) to clear their arrears. The audit team also conducted special probe in the Aminabad area where same manipulation in bills is reported. However people are raising questions over the audit team also.

On the other hand, the Senior Officials have asked consumers to clear their dues along with the arrears soon to avoid any further action by the Power Corporation.
