Lucknow News: In order to boost the system of attendance in Schools and Colleges, the Education Department has decided to introduce a system in which the attendance of the students and teachers will be marked in a Biometric system and not in School Registers anymore. It will be mandatory for all the students and teachers to mark their attendance through these systems. Schools and colleges have been asked to implement this practice without delay. This norm is used to be followed in the State Universities in the year 2022, and all the Government degree colleges are following this rule from the beginning of this year.
‘System should also be linked with the Salaries of Staff’
The Chancellor of the State University had also asked the staff to link this system with salaries of teachers in schools and colleges. The decision was taken during a meeting held by the senior of the Education Department. The Meeting was attended by the Principals of all the Government aided schools and colleges.
All must mark attendance by using Fingerprints
In the order, all the students and teachers will be using their finger prints to mark their attendance. The authorities of the schools and colleges have to arrange this system in such a way that it should reflect in the server of the system.
