Lucknow News: It’s a Good News for students, Government will not hike the fees in the Private and Engineering colleges and all the business institutes of UP. The fee hike proposal has been cancelled in view of the weak economic situation after the Pandemic. Thousands of students who have taken admission in the Private Engineering, pharmacy and Professional institutes of the states in the session 2023-2024 have got a big relief after this announcement. Now there will be no fee hike in the engineering, pharmacy and Professional degree diploma courses. The government has rejected the proposal for admission and the fee regulation committee to hike the fee.
Fee was last hiked in the year 2018-2019
The committee usually don’t hike the fee for these institutes every year. The standard fee was hiked in the year 2018-2019. After this the fee was not hiked due to covid. After the Pandemic was over, these professional institutions demanded a fee hike. The committee has given in principle consent to hike the fees by 11 percent in all the diploma and degree courses.
Govt cancelled the hike keeping in view Parents & students request
There were lot of objections raised on this issue. Government also took a review meet to discuss the issue and finally it was decided not to hike the fee. The proposal has been cancelled keeping in view of the students and the parents request.
