Lucknow News: The Sahara Hospital in Lucknow sold for a whopping Rs 940 crore. The well-known hospital chain Max Hospital has purchased it. Presently, Sahara Hospital sees two lakh patients annually. This hospital is very good in the field of neuroscience. A share purchase agreement (SPA) worth Rs 940 crore was announced by private healthcare provider Max Healthcare Institute Ltd on December 8 in order to purchase a 100% stake in Starlit Medical Centre Pvt Ltd.
Starlit to Purchase 550-bed Sahara Hospital
The 550-bed Sahara Hospital will be purchased by Starlit through a business transfer agreement (BTA) with Sahara India Medical Institute Limited, the company announced to the stock exchange. The filing states that amounts owed to vendors and financial lenders are included in the total of Rs 940 crore.
Sahara Hospital’s Sprawling 27-acre Campus Unveiled
In Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Sahara Hospital is located on a 27-acre plot of land. The building is 17 stories tall and has a total built-up area of 9 lakh square feet. Specialised care is provided for gastroenterology, neurology, surgery, cardiology, and pulmonology here. On the campus, there is a nursing college as well.
