Lucknow News: At the Awadh crossroads, Vineet Singh, an IAS candidate, was assaulted by the police and had his gold chain stolen. Three Manaknagar police officers have been charged in this case with assault, robbery, and intimidation, among other offences. Vineet claims in his tahrir that in addition to beating him, constables Anmol Mishra, Gajendra Singh, and Arvind also stole his gold chain. The statement “If the friend had not been an IPS, the police would have been a smack smuggler” was prominently printed in Dainik Jagran on Wednesday, and that is why this action has been taken.
Vineet Alleges Police Supervisor’s Silence and Pressure to Suppress Complaints
Vineet claims that after being let out of the police station, the police station’s supervisor likewise stayed silent when he requested the chain. Vineet had also been under pressure from the station manager not to voice any complaints. The station supervisor is charged with egregious carelessness in this case. Another important concern is why, even four days after the occurrence, no action has been done to hold the station in-charge accountable. The officers are working to protect the station supervisor who caused the situation. Whatever accusations Vineet Singh made in Tahrir, according to the case’s investigative officer, ACP Kakori Anoop Kumar Singh. On the basis of it, every point is examined. Vineet specifically accused head constable Gajendra Singh and constable Anmol Mishra in the statement. The probe has also brought up Arvind’s name. It is being investigated what the station in charge does. Anyone whose involvement in the investigation will result in action is being taken.
Beaten, Threatened, and Pressured by Manaknagar Police

Vineet Stands Firm Against Police Intimidation and Seeks Accountability
