A member of the Child Rights Protection Commission conducted a surprise inspection of the most renowned St. Mary’s School in Morena, Madhya Pradesh. In a shocking turn of events, full and empty bottles of English liquor were found in the principal’s office during inspection. Additionally, objectionable materials including condoms were also found from his office. The authorities also recovered religious propaganda material from the library.
Propaganda material found from Principal’s office
According to media reports, Dr. Nivedita Sharma, member of the State Child Rights Protection Commission, arrived in Morena on Saturday. She, along with the District Education Officer, reached St. Mary’s School near the SP office on National Highway-44. During the surprise inspection of the school library, she found a large amount of propaganda material of a particular religion.
The member of State Child Rights Protection observed that the principal’s residential room is just across from the library. On finding liquor bottles in the room, a member of the State Child Rights Protection Commission informed the Excise Department. The Excise Department has registered a case against the principal.
School sealed
State Child Protection Commission member Dr. Nivedita Sharma says, during the inspection, other objectionable material including condoms along with liquor bottles were found from the principal’s residential room. Apart from this, a book for the promotion of a particular religion has been received from the library. From this it appears, something fishy was going on inside the school. The school has been sealed on the instructions of the collector.
