Madhya Pradesh News: You would be astonished to learn that a mango enthusiast in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, is cultivating a mango that sells for Rs 2.5 lakh per kilogramme in Japan. Mangoes are grown in two gardens, totaling around 12.5 acres, owned by Sankalp Singh of Jabalpur. He has a variety of mango trees in both of these gardens. A species known as “Toiyo no Tamango” from Hapus mangoes exported to Japan is also present in his plantation. Its unique selling point is that this mango can cost up to Rs 2.5 lakh per kg in Japan.

Sankalp Singh began cultivating gardens in 2013. After then, he concentrated on growing mangoes; at this time, his garden contains more than 24 different varieties of mango trees. During his travels, he was given a tree of the Toio no Tamango species from Japan. They claim that the most costly variety, the Tiyo no Tumango, which is also visually appealing, was the first fruit served by him in Baba Mahakal’s court. This mango typically weighs 900 grammes. This is the explanation for why so many people visit his yard to see this mango.

Sankalp Singh’s Mango Security Measures and Pricing Disparities
Sankalp Singh now has a new identity in the nation and the rest of the world because to mango farming. He claims that it was challenging for him in the past to guard this mango at night. Because of this, he maintained 9 dogs and dogs on guard at night. However, he is now required to retain security guards on duty during the day because there is a risk of mango theft. Although Tiyo no Tamango may cost Rs 2.5 lakh per kg in Japan, this price has not yet been paid in India. They claim that this mango is pricey and that only those with sufficient financial resources purchase it, while it has been sold in the nation for up to Rs 50,000 a kg. They also run a restaurant in this garden and the mangoes here are the center of attraction for the people coming here.
