68% voter turnout in 19 Madhya Pradesh civic body polls

Voting took place in 19 urban bodies of Madhya Pradesh on Friday. According to the State Election Commission, 67.9% polling has taken place in 19 urban bodies till 7 pm. The election results will be announced on January 23 from 9 am. According to the State Election Commission, 69.2% male and 66.6% female voters exercised their franchise in the voting held on Friday, while a total of 11.1% other voters also exercised their franchise.

Rakesh Singh, secretary of the State Election Commission, has told that 77 percent male and 73 percent female voters in Raghogarh-Vijaypur Municipal Council of Guna district, 71 percent male and 66 percent female voters in Barwani district, 68 percent male and 68 percent in Sendhwa. 63 percent women voters, 65 in Dhar of Dhar district 70 percent male and 62 percent female voters, 70 percent male and 63 percent female voters in Manawar and 58 percent male and 61 percent female voters in Pithampur exercised their franchise.

Similarly, 82 percent male and 78 percent female voters in Municipal Council Jaithari in Anuppur district, 66 percent male and 65 percent female voters in Omkareshwar in Khandwa district, 76 percent male and 72 percent female voters in Khetiya in Barwani district, 75 percent in Pansemal. Male and 69 percent female voters, Palsud 79% male and 75% female voters in Rajpur, 83% male and 76% female voters, 78% male and 73% female voters in Anjad and 71% male and 65% female voters in Dharampuri Municipal Council, Dhamnod in Dhar district 70 percent male and 65 percent female voters72% male and 68% female voters in Kukshi, 71% male and 75% female voters in Rajgarh, 75% male and 76% female voters in Sardarpur and 76% male and 73% female voters in Dahi exercised their franchise.
