Businessman Looted At Gunpoint by Students in Madhya Pradesh

There has been a big disclosure in the case of robbery of one crore rupees at the house of a confectioner’s house robbery in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. The students studying in the college had carried out this incident of robbery at the businessman’s house. The accused are students of Naugaon Polytechnic College, located in Naugaon. The police have arrested 4 out of 5 accused in this case along with the goods and the search is on for another absconding accused. Out of total 5 accused, 3 students along with two other accomplices had carried out the crime. The accused had committed the crime after watching a video on YouTube.

According to the information, three students studying in the Government Polytechnic College located in Naugaon of Chhatarpur district, along with their two other companions, had committed a robbery of one crore in the house of a confectioner of Naugaon itself. The accused had practiced the methods of robbery and dacoity through YouTube, planning to escape from the spot, intimidating, threatening and tying up the victims. Despite this, 4 accused were caught by the police even before morning. But one of the accused managed to escape.

It is said that the incident took place late on Sunday night and the police arrested the accused after a lot of effort within a few hours after getting the information. The victim Omprakash Rajpurohit has a shop named Bikaner Mishthan Bhandar near Ishanagar square in Chhatarpur’s Naogaon. The accused had committed the robbery at the businessman’s house last night at around 10 pm.

According to the information, the accused ran away with gold and silver jewellery, Rs 36 lakh in cash and goods worth one crore.

The victim businessman had informed the police about this. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police had blockaded the entire city. Within a few hours, 4 accused were arrested. However, one of the accused managed to escape by dodging the police. During police interrogation, the accused themselves revealed that they are students of Polytechnic College.

Before carrying out the incident, he had seen videos on YouTube and practiced all the methods of robbery. The Director General of Police (DGP) has praised the police for solving the incident within a few hours and the Inspector General of Sagar district has also announced a reward of Rs 30,000 to the police team.
