Cop acts fresher to crack ragging case in Madhya Pradesh

In Madhya Pradesh’s Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Indore, the police has solved a case of ragging in a unique way. This time, to solve the complaint of ragging, the police sent undercover cop Shalini Chauhan to the college by making her a medical student. Giving information to the media, Shalini told that she exposed the blind ragging case. The complaint of ragging was received by the police on July 24. On which now success has been achieved. Earlier, in the case of ragging, the accused used to escape due to lack of evidence.

Giving information to the media, Shalini said that the police had received a complaint of ragging 5 months back. To solve this, she took entry in the college by becoming a student. Meanwhile, Shalini starts going to the college, making friends and spending time with them. Shalini spends time in the canteen with her college friend. Meanwhile, Shalini collected evidence of ragging. And after getting solid evidence, Shalini disclosed the report. Giving information, Shalini said that she used to spend time in the canteen at short intervals. The reason behind this, Shalini said that so that people do not feel that she roams around all day, but also does some work. Shalini used to spend time in the canteen as well as talk to the students. By talking, Shalini gathered all the information related to ragging. Gradually, Shalini identified those people who were ragging the freshers.

What was the whole matter?

MP In Indore’s Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, a case of beating of first year students by senior students came to light. Junior students called the anti-ragging helpline and pleaded for help. The students told in their complaint that the third year students beat and harass the first year students.

Notes on the behavior of senior students

While Shalini spent time in the college, she was asked by top police officers to inquire into the behavior of some senior students. After getting its report, Shalini handed it over to the higher police officers.

Police will present challan against ragging students

Police has prepared reports of 10 such girl students who used to ragging in the college. The police will prepare a charge sheet against everyone and present it in the court. According to the information received from the news, the 10 girl students who were accused by the police include Prem Tripathi, Rishabh Raj, Rahul Patel, Ujjwal Pandey, Raunak Patidar, Prabhat Singh, Krapranshu Singh, Chetan Verma and 2 other students. At present, eight out of ten students have been granted bail.

What happens in ragging?

While complaining, the aggrieved students told that senior students force them to have unnatural sex. The senior students used to coerce and beat up the junior students for choosing the name of their female batch mates and making derogatory remarks about her. The anti-ragging cell of the medical college found all these allegations to be true as a preliminary investigation. After this the Anti Ragging College Committee handed over the matter to the police for appropriate action.

On the other hand Sanjay Dixit, the Dean of MGM College, is refraining from saying anything regarding the anti-ragging issue. Dean asked to take strict action if the accused students are found guilty.
