Dhirendra Shastri: Kuldeep Yadav, a member of India’s ODI World Cup 2023 squad, went to Bageshwar Dham to seek Pandit Dhirendra Shastri’s blessings. Kuldeep has already visited the Dham ahead of the Asia Cup 2023. The pictures of his meeting with Bageshwar Dham head priest are going viral online. In the picture, he is touching the feet of Dhirendra Shastri to seek blessings.
Not to mention, Kuldeep is the only wrist spinner in the World Cup roster, and Team India skipper Rohit Sharma is counting on him to deliver well in the big game.
Kuldeep visited Dhirendra Shastri earlier
Kuldeep Yadav made headlines when he visited Bageshwar Dham ahead of the Asia Cup 2023. His pictures with the head priest went viral online and devotees said that Kuldeep performed well in the Asia Cup because he took blessings of Bageshwar Baba.
Kuldeep will miss ODIs against Australia
Kuldeep has been rested for the first two One-Day Internationals against Australia. The three-match series begins on September 22, and it will be the last chance for Indians and Australians to hone their talents and decide on their final XI. Kuldeep is their important player, according to Rohit, and the management does not want to reveal too much about him until the World Cup begins. The selectors do not want the senior players to get hurt and, more significantly, to have the much-needed break and recuperation ahead of the World Cup, therefore Rohit, Virat Kohli, and Hardik Pandya are all missing from the ODI World Cup roster.
