34 foreign and 23 Indian guests, who came to attend the G-20 conference, took a safari to the Bijrani zone of Corbett Park on Thursday morning. The guests of the three gypsies saw tigers, elephants and Chital Road. 57 guests from 20 gypsies had arrived for the safari.
The guests captured the beautiful views of the forest on their mobile phones and took them away as memories. The guests went for a safari in the Bijrani zone of Corbett Park at 6.30 am. He politely greeted the officers. Five routes were made for safari in Bijrani.
At 10 am the guests returned outside after a safari in Bijrani Zone. During this, Chief Conservator of Forests Vinod Kumar Singhal, Chief Wildlife Warden Sameer Sinha, Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat, Director DrDheeraj Pandey, Park Warden Amit Gwasakoti, IG Nilesh Anand Bharne, Ranger Sanjay Pandey, Ranger Binder Pal, Ranger Lalit Mohan Arya were present.
Information about the management of Corbett Park
In the forest rest house complex of Bijrani zone, various information was given to the guests through the exhibition by Corbett Park. Department’s pet elephant Lakshmi, Albeli also explained the importance of wildlife conservation. CTR Director Dheeraj Pandey informed the guests about the efforts being made for the protection of Corbett, steps to be taken to prevent human-wildlife conflict, work of Eco Development Committee, connecting villagers with employment through wildlife conservation, nature guide from park.
The guests who went on safari with the guides inquired curiously about everything. The guides also kept solving all their queries. The guests were so overwhelmed by the beauty of the river, drain, mountain and forest that they were seen saying ‘Wow’ again and again. Guests raved about the beauty of Corbett’s scenic views. The guests also appreciated the experience and knowledge of the drivers and guides.
Director Dheeraj Pandey, his subordinate officers Park Warden Amit Gwasakoti, Ranger Sanjay Pandey, Ranger Binder Pal, Ranger Lalit Arya and other staff worked hard day and night behind making foreign guests a safe safari in Bijrani Tourism Zone of Corbett Park. In the last week of February, the guests of the G-20 conference were given the responsibility of safari in Corbett Park, so getting it done safely was no less than a challenge.
