Ladli Behna Yojana – In a festive season surprise, over 1.29 crore women beneficiaries under the Ladli Bahna Yojana in Madhya Pradesh will receive the 17th installment of Rs. 1,250 on October 5. This scheme, launched by the Madhya Pradesh government in 2023, aims to economically empower women across the state by providing monthly financial assistance.

Ladli Bahna Yojana: A Major Initiative

The Ladli Bahna Yojana is one of the most significant welfare initiatives of the Madhya Pradesh government, specifically designed to support women from various socio-economic backgrounds. Over one crore women have already benefited from this scheme, which helps them meet family needs and make independent purchases, thus improving their quality of life.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scheme

To be eligible for the Ladli Bahna Yojana, women must be residents of Madhya Pradesh and fall within the age group of 21 to 60 years. The scheme provides financial aid to married women, widows, divorced, and abandoned women, who receive Rs. 1,250 directly in their bank accounts each month.

Required Documents for Enrollment

Women who are yet to register for the scheme need not worry, as registration will reopen soon. To apply, women must have key documents including their Samagra ID, Aadhaar card, and mobile number. These documents are essential for completing the registration process and receiving the benefits under this empowering initiative.

Through this scheme, the Madhya Pradesh government is making significant strides in ensuring the financial independence and welfare of women across the state.
