Madhya Pradesh: 11 laborers killed in bus-SUV collision

In the late hours of Thursday night in Betul, Madhya Pradesh, a bus and an SUV collided, killing eleven laborers, according to the police.

The 11 laborers were returning from Amravati in Maharashtra when the accident occurred at around two in the morning close to Jhallar police station between Gurgaon and Bhaisdehi, according to the police. Before the SUV collided with a bus, the driver fell asleep.

Seven bodies were removed right away, but Simala Prasad, a senior police official in Betul, stated that to remove the remaining bodies, the vehicle needed to be cut.
