Madhya Pradesh: Government launches ‘CM Learn and Earn’ scheme

Learn and earn scheme

Today, July 4, 2023, the Madhya Pradesh government will begin accepting applications for the “Chief Minister Learn and Earn” Scheme. Candidates can register on the official website, mmsky.mp.gov.in, if they wish to participate in the CM’s Learn and Earn programme.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, had earlier on June 7 announced the commencement of a programme called Learn and Earn for young people to teach them useful skills. The programme has identified 703 work sectors in total for training.

All young people who did not find employment after finishing high school or getting their degree would receive training in a variety of professions, including electronics, engineering, marketing, hotel management, IT, banking, CA, CS, media, art, and law.

About CM’s Learn and Earn Programme

The learn and earn program’s most crucial feature is that young people will also receive an incentive of Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 in addition to learning new skills. According to sources, the programme will provide training to around one lakh young people.

The first day for kids to register to get training was set for June 7, while the first day for young people who wanted to acquire a trade was June 15. The applicant who completes the registration process successfully will be qualified to begin employment on August 1, 2023.

This programme was started by the government to address the job gap for young people. The curriculum provides young people with a one-year work-based learning plan after which they will either be given a job offer or directed towards alternative opportunities.

The “Mukhyamantri Yuva Kaushal Kamai Yojana” programme, created by the Madhya Pradesh government, is intended to help young people who have finished school but have not been able to find job.
