Madhya Pradesh To Reserve 30 Percent Seats For Women In State Police

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made a big announcement. He announced on Friday that 30% posts in Madhya Pradesh Police would now be reserved for daughters. Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on Friday, where he flagged off 250 two-wheelers. These vehicles have been given for helpdesk in women police stations.

30% Posts reserved for daughters in MP Police

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that without giving justice to half of the population, neither the country nor the state can progress. Therefore, recruitment of 30% daughters in the police department will be mandatory. He further said that today the women working in the police force are fulfilling their responsibilities with full devotion.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also mentioned technology in the police department. He said that the police department is continuously being empowered with modern resources. Through this, the victims will get speedy justice and that is why the police is being equipped with state-of-the-art resources.

Chief Minister Shivraj said that it is my wish that all the sisters become socially, economically and politically empowered and therefore 50% posts in the elections have been reserved for women. Apart from this, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan also mentioned the Ladli Mahila Yojana. He said that it is my wish that every daughter born on the land of Madhya Pradesh becomes a millionaire, that is why Mukhyamantri Ladli Yojana has been formulated. Today there are more than 45 lakh dear Lakshmi sisters in the state.

Only 10.5% women in the police force across the country

According to the India Justice Report, only 10.5% of the entire police force across the country are women. At the same time, according to this report, CCTV is installed in only one out of every three police stations across the country. Although there is 30 per cent reservation for women in the police force. But currently only 10.5% of the police force are women. In 11 states, this number is less than five percent.
