Madhya Pradesh’s Agra district came up with unique offer for noble cause

Amid the present festival season, where deals and discounts were aplenty, the district hospital in Madhya Pradesh’s Agar district created a special offer for a noble cause.

Under the “National Tuberculosis Eradication Program,” the health department has taken an innovative step by offering incentives ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 50,000 to anyone who presents TB patients. To raise awareness of the TB disease in the area, this is being done. so that people seek treatment at the hospital and do not conceal their TB infection. The health department also provides home appliances in addition to cash incentives.

A bumper incentive program for Diwali has been launched by the health department of the Agar Malwa district.

A prize of between 500 and 50,000 rupees will be granted under this program to the person who takes a TB patient to the hospital.

Outside the hospital, the department posted a poster that has gone popular on social media.

According to the poster, one can receive a prize of Rs. 500 or a tiffin if they admit a patient to the hospital. If someone refers five new patients, they are eligible for a prize of Rs. 2500 or a mixer, Rs. 5000 or a cellphone, Rs. 7500 or 10 grams of silver for someone who refers ten patients, or a four-gram gold coin for someone who refers thirty patients.

Rajesh Gupta, the program officer for the Agar-Malwa district, stated that our goal is to eradicate tuberculosis (TB) by 2025, and as part of that, we will execute a massive campaign from October 24 through December 31 that includes this incentive program.

There is only one need for receiving a reward: the TB patient must be brand-new and must have never had an examination or treatment before this.
