A major accident took place in the Chambal river of Madhya Pradesh. Pedestrians going to visit Karauli Mata temple are reported to have drowned in the Chambal river. More than a dozen passengers were going to Karauli Mata Temple in Rajasthan from Shivpuri. More than 10 people are feared to have been swept away in the accident, while the body of a woman has been pulled out of the river. Local villagers informed the police and administrative officials about the accident. Local divers are currently searching for passengers in the Chambal river. The case is related to Radiradhen Chambal Ghat of Tentara police station area of the district.
Devotees going to visit Karauli Mata temple drowned
According to the information, the whole matter is of Radiradhen Chambal Ghat under Tentara police station. Where about 17 people from Shivpuri were going to visit Karoli Kailadevi Mata Temple in Rajasthan. These people were crossing the Chambal river on foot. During this the incident happened. Everyone got swept away in the current of strong water.
The local villagers immediately informed the police and administrative officials about the incident. After which the team has reached the police administration on the spot. At the same time, with the help of local divers, the bodies of 1 woman and 2 men have been taken out. Local divers have rescued 8 people safely and are searching for the rest of the devotees in the Chambal river.
