Man who gave death threat to Rahul Gandhi arrested in Ujjain

The accused who threatened to kill Rahul Gandhi has been arrested. Madhya Pradesh police caught him from Ujjain on Thursday, 24th November. According to the report of India Today, the name of the accused is being told as Daya alias Pyare alias Narendra Singh. He is a resident of Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh.

At the time of arrest, he was in Nagda area of ​​the district. According to the news, the accused has been handed over to the Indore police. He allegedly wrote a letter threatening that Rahul Gandhi would be bombed as soon as he arrived in Indore for his ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra.

How was the accused caught?

According to reports, the police checked at least 200 CCTVs and raided hotels, lodges and railway stations in half a dozen cities. In the investigation, the police came to know that the accused was present in a Congress program at the Khalsa Stadium in Indore, where former Chief Minister of the state Kamal Nath was also present.

According to Dainik Bhaskar, Indore Crime Branch prepared the picture of the accused and circulated it in every police station. On Thursday, November 24, at 2 pm, the Nagda police received information that a person with this appearance was eating food at a hotel on the bypass. From there the police arrested him. He says that the accused has already threatened many people through letters and phone calls.
