MP News: Three more coaches of the metro, which left the manufacturing plant in Gujarat a week ago, have reached Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, after covering a distance of 526 kilometers. These coaches of metro train reached Bhopal on Sunday. Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation gave this information. Today on Monday, these metro coaches will be unloaded at Subhash Nagar depot. With the help of a crane, all three coaches will be lowered from the trolley. After this they will be examined.
According to information received from Metro Rail Corporation, these metro coaches had started from Gujarat on September 10. He reached Bhopal last night. Now almost all preparations have been completed for the trial run of the metro. Whatever remains will be completed this week. The trial run will be between Subhash Nagar depot and Rani Kamlapati station.
Let us tell you, one of the projects started under the new Metro Policy 2017 of the Central Government is Bhopal Metro Rail Project.
The work of Bhopal Metro Project Phase-1 started in 2018. Subhash Nagar depot is being built on 80 acres of land. Metro trains will operate from here. Trains will stop here during night time.
These coaches will run on the Orange Line
Officials say that the width of each coach is 2.9 meters and length is 22 meters. These coaches will run on the 6.22 km Orange Line laid from AIIMS, Bhopal to Subhash Nagar. After this, next year in May-June 2024, common people will also be able to travel in the metro.
