Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kailash Vijayvargiya has stirred up controversy once again with his recent statements. During an event in Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam, he stated, “We won’t hesitate to take the lives of those who speak against the nation. All those who say ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ are our brothers, and we are willing to sacrifice our lives for them.
But for those who speak against the country, we will not hesitate to go as far as ending their lives.” Vijayvargiya also criticized the Congress party over the Ram temple issue, suggesting that those who consider Lord Ram as fictional should visit Ayodhya when the grand temple is inaugurated in January to cleanse themselves of their sins.
This isn’t the first time that Vijayvargiya has faced backlash due to his controversial statements. He was previously criticized for commenting on girls’ clothing, stating that while girls are referred to as goddesses, some of them dress inappropriately, obscuring their divine nature. He advised parents to instill cultural values in their children and expressed concern about the matter. After the controversy escalated, Vijayvargiya opted not to elaborate further on his remarks, asserting that people understood his intended meaning.
In a previous instance, Vijayvargiya created controversy by suggesting that Agniveers would be given priority in guarding the BJP party office. This statement also drew criticism.
