MP News: In a bid to promote adventure tourism, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board is set to kick off the Sky Diving Festival from February 8th. The festival will commence in Ujjain on February 8th and later in Khajuraho from February 20th, offering a thrilling experience of skydiving to enthusiasts. The Secretary of Tourism and Culture and Director of Tourism Board, Shiv Shekhar Shukla, stated that the success of the previous editions has inspired the organization to host the third edition in Ujjain and the first edition in Khajuraho this year.
The skydiving activities will take place at Datana Airstrip in Ujjain from February 8th to 17th and in Khajuraho from February 20th to 25th, allowing adventure lovers to soar through the skies at heights of 10,000 feet. The skydiving sessions will be available from 8 AM to 5 PM, and bookings can be made on www.skyhighindia.com.
Khajuraho Dance Festival Celebration
Additionally, the Secretary announced the organization of the 50th Khajuraho Dance Festival, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, from February 20th to 26th. To make this anniversary special, the world’s most thrilling sport, the Sky Diving Festival, is being organized. During this festival, enthusiasts from across the country will witness the historical marvels of Khajuraho from a height of 10,000 feet. The Khajuraho Dance Festival, initiated in 1975, has been successfully hosted by the Department of Culture and the Ustad Alauddin Khan Sangeet and Kala Academy.
This year’s celebration marks the golden jubilee of this unique confluence of dance and art, and special preparations are underway. The Sky Diving Festival is expected to attract romance enthusiasts from all over the country.
Modern and Highly Secure Skydiving Experience
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the United States Parachute Association (USPA) have certified the operation of skydiving by “Sky-High India.” The aircraft used for skydiving is registered with the Civil Aviation Directorate. The organization will conduct skydiving sessions under the guidance of trained skydivers adhering to the highest safety standards.
