MP News: Case Registered in Bhopal Over Alleged Disappearance of 26 Girls from Children’s Home

The Madhya Pradesh Police have initiated an investigation into the reported disappearance of 26 girls from Aanchal Children’s Home in Parwalia, Bhopal. The case was registered after a complaint was filed by district program officer Ramgopal Yadav against Anil Mathew, who is accused of running the children’s home illegally.

According to initial findings, the police suggest that the missing girls may have left the facility voluntarily, possibly due to homesickness or a lack of interest in staying at the home. Bhopal (Rural) Superintendent of Police Pramod Kumar Sinha stated in a video message that some girls often return home after registering at such facilities for various reasons.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are verifying the claims of the girls returning to their homes. An FIR has been filed at the Parwaliya Sadak Police Station in Bhopal, and the police are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the alleged disappearance of the girls, who are between 6 and 18 years old.
