MP News: In a significant step towards digitalizing the property registration process, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to launch the ‘Sampada-2.0’ software on Thursday. The launch will take place at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Center (Minto Hall) in the capital city, marking the statewide implementation of the system following a successful pilot project in four districts.
Expansion After Successful Pilot
The pilot project, which was initially implemented in Guna, Harda, Dindori, and Ratlam, demonstrated successful e-registration and e-stamping of documents, according to an official release. With this success, the software will now be expanded to all 55 districts of Madhya Pradesh. Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda will preside over the launch event.
Leading in Digital Registration
Madhya Pradesh has positioned itself as a leading state in India for document registration and e-stamping, said Deputy Chief Minister Devda. “The process of implementing the software for e-registration and e-stamping has been completed in all districts of the state,” he added.
Features of ‘Sampada-2.0’
The software will enable digital registration of documents such as property transfers and loans. Additionally, it will provide features like tracking loans against properties, identification of properties by custodian departments, and registrant verification through e-KYC. Citizens will also have the convenience of completing registration and e-stamping processes from home.
The new system is expected to streamline the property registration process, reduce paperwork, and enhance transparency in property transactions across the state.
