The move comes after deliberations on the social implications of various attire choices among students, with concerns raised over garments like burkas, hijabs, and sarees potentially creating divisions. By implementing a uniform dress code, the government aims to instill discipline and promote positive behavior among students, fostering a conducive learning environment.

Minister Parmar further assured that the uniform policy has been designed to accommodate all sections of society, ensuring no student faces inconvenience. The decision aligns with efforts to streamline educational practices in accordance with national policies while upholding standards of fairness and inclusivity across Madhya Pradesh’s collegiate landscape.
