MP News: In a recent cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, the Madhya Pradesh government has unveiled a series of substantial initiatives aimed at benefiting farmers and enhancing the state’s healthcare infrastructure. The government has approved a bonus of INR 125 per quintal on the purchase of wheat, in addition to the Minimum Support Price (MSP), with an allocated budget of INR 30,000 crores for MSP purchases.

Minister Govind Singh Rajput shared the announcement on social media, expressing gratitude towards the leadership of CM Dr. Mohan Yadav for this significant gift to the state’s farmers for the Rabi marketing year 2024-25. This decision underscores the government’s commitment to bolstering the agricultural sector and supporting the farming community.

Furthermore, the Yadav cabinet has green-lit financial provisions for several major projects in the healthcare domain. This includes the sanctioning of INR 1200 crores for the establishment of medical colleges in Neemuch and Singrauli, alongside the decision to open nursing colleges adjacent to all medical colleges in the state. An additional INR 192 crores have been approved to support the establishment of these nursing colleges.
Additionally, Ujjain is set to witness the inauguration of a new medical college and a 100-bed hospital, developed at a cost of INR 600 crores, part of the government’s preparation for the upcoming Simhastha fair. The government has also committed to ensuring that all district hospitals will be equipped with mortuary vans, and Ayushman cardholders in the state will benefit from free air ambulance services, highlighting the administration’s focus on healthcare accessibility and infrastructure development.
