In cities like Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain, and others, temperatures have surpassed 42 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, changing weather patterns in several districts have provided some relief. Cities like Vidisha, Indore, and Ratlam have experienced cooling showers, offering residents a brief respite from the heat.

According to the weather department’s forecast for June 8, a yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorms and lightning in many cities. In contrast, some cities might experience a rise in temperatures. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the heat.

Cities such as Bhind, Morena, Gwalior, Datia, Panna, Satna, and Rewa are not expected to get any relief from the scorching heat. The weather forecast indicates that these cities might experience severe heat along with heatwaves. Residents should take necessary measures to protect themselves from the extreme heat and heatwaves.

- Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, buttermilk, and other fluids.
- Avoid going out during the peak heat hours, especially after 2 PM.
- Cover your head and hands if you must go out in the sun.
- Drink water before stepping out in the sun.
- Wear cotton, loose, and comfortable clothing to stay cool.
