MP Weather Update: In Madhya Pradesh, while temperatures continue to soar in one part, the erratic rainfall shows no signs of abating in another. The state has been experiencing consistent rainfall over the past three days, with the precipitation spreading across different districts.

Varied Weather Conditions Prevail in Madhya Pradesh

On Friday, more than a dozen districts, including Ujjain, Mandsaur, Sehore, Ratlam, Shajapur, and Indore, witnessed heavy rain accompanied by strong winds. In Mandsaur, winds reached speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour.

Intense Rainfall and Rising Temperatures

The weather in Madhya Pradesh has been displaying a spectrum of conditions each day. While rainfall persists in some areas, temperatures are rapidly rising elsewhere. Recently, the maximum temperature in the state soared to near 45 degrees Celsius. Guna recorded a maximum temperature of 44.4 degrees Celsius, setting a new record. Meanwhile, Shivpuri recorded 43 degrees Celsius, Tikamgarh 42.5 degrees Celsius, Sagar 42.8 degrees Celsius, and Ratlam 42 degrees Celsius. In the capital city of Bhopal, the temperature reached 41.5 degrees Celsius, while it was 40.6 degrees Celsius in Indore, 40.5 degrees Celsius in Gwalior, 39.4 degrees Celsius in Jabalpur, and 41.5 degrees Celsius in Ujjain, also setting records.

Moreover, cities like Sidhi, Dhar, Khajuraho, Khandwa, Ratlam, Naugawan, Damoh, Khargone, and Shajapur recorded temperatures ranging from 40 to 41.6 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department issued alerts on Saturday for heavy rainfall and strong winds in 30 districts. Places like Udayagiri in Vidisha, Ujjain, Harda, Bhimbetka in Raisen, Muraina, Rajgarh, Indore, Dewas, Mandsaur, Narmadapuram, Shajapur, and Sehore may experience rainfall. Some areas might also witness thunderstorms along with hailstorms, with winds reaching speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour.

Additionally, light showers with mild thunderstorms are expected in areas like Ratlam, Neemuch, Khargone, Sanchi, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Bhind, Sagar, Pandhurna, Seoni, Balaghat, Bairaagadh, Dhar, and Omkareshwar in Khandwa.

The weather pattern in Madhya Pradesh remains dynamic, keeping residents on their toes as they navigate through alternating spells of rain and heat.
