The Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh has decided to change the name of Nasrullaganj in Sehore district. Now this city will be known as Bhairunda. The state government has also issued a notification regarding this. In fact, the Shivraj government had sent a proposal to the central government to change the name of Nasrullaganj to Bhairunda, while after getting approval from the Union Home Ministry, the state government issued a notification regarding its name change.
CM had announced to change the name of Nasrullaganj
It may be known that during one of his programs in Nasrullaganj, Shivraj Singh had announced to change the name of Nasrullaganj to Bhairunda. Nasrullaganj comes under Budhni, the assembly constituency of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Earlier, the state government has changed the name of Bhopal’s Islam Nagar to Jagdishpur and Hoshangabad to Narmadapuram.
Names of many other places also changed
Habibganj railway station has also been renamed in Madhya Pradesh this year, now this station is known as Rani Kamlapati railway station. There is also news that the exercise to change the name of Jabalpur’s Dumna airport is also going on. The state government has sent a proposal to the central government to name the Dumna airport after Rani Durgavati.
In the election year, the state government has so far changed the names of many places one after the other. The name of Bhopal’s Minto Hall has also been changed to Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Centre.
