Lokayukta in Katni surprised everyone including the police and doctors by the action of a Patwari. In fact, when the police caught the Patwari red-handed taking bribe, he chewed and swallowed the entire bribe amount to avoid action. As of now, Patwari has been arrested and action will be taken against him.
5 thousand rupees were demanded in the land case
According to information, Gajendra Singh, who was posted as Halka Patwari in Katni’s Bilhari, had demanded bribe from Chandan Lodhi in lieu of land demarcation and report. The victim complained about this to the Jabalpur Lokayukta Superintendent of Police on July 10, 2023.
Following the complaint, the officers investigating the complaint found it to be true. Gajendra Singh had called Chandan to his private office to collect the bribe amount. After which the team of Lokayukta took action in a planned manner while doing complete planning.
There was a demand of five thousand rupees
The Patwari posted at Bilhari Halka in Katni district has been caught red-handed while taking bribe by the team of Jabalpur Lokayukta. The accused Patwari had demanded a bribe of five thousand in lieu of demarcation work of the land. Meanwhile, the team reached the spot and caught the Patwari. After this Patwari put the entire amount in his mouth and started chewing. Patwari tried to avoid action by swallowing 9 500 notes.
