Viral Video: In Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district, four girls were allegedly charged with attacking a woman at the LIG intersection.
On November 4, at around one in the night, an incident took place, and on Monday, social media was flooded with the incident’s video. The four girls could be seen violently hitting and abusing a woman in the widely shared video.
Police station supervisor for MIG, Ajay Verma, said that the woman complained that Megha Malviya, Tina Soni, Poonam Ahirwar, and another person assaulted her without cause. As the motive is yet to be known, the incident has yet again brought up limelight to the wide-spreading night culture that is, in a way, inciting crime.
In response to the complaint, the police filed a case against them under many IPC sections, including sections 294 (Obscene conduct), 323 (penalty for voluntarily causing harm), and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).
The video raises series questions on the society as the unruly girls hit the lady, that too, on a busy road. As per the sources, the girls were drunk when they clashed with the other lady.
