Madhya Pradesh: In Madhya Pradesh’s Singrauli, a woman attacked her husband with an axe and chopped off his genitalia to kill him. Birender Gurjar had been married five times, and Kanchan Gurjar, the victim of his murder, was his fifth wife. On February 21, the deceased’s body was discovered. The deceased had injuries to his throat and genitalia, according to the police.
Kanchan had made a complaint at the police station
Arun Pandey, the in-charge of the Kotwali police station, claimed though that Kanchan had made a complaint at the police station and filed a case against an unidentified person. The police have been looking into the case ever since. Along with questioning everyone who was suspected, including several of the deceased’s close relatives, the police conducted a thorough investigation.
Woman set fire to the deceased’s clothing
Police also looked into the deceased person’s wife at this time. The woman was detained by the police and interrogated rigorously before the entire incident was made public. Kanchan disclosed that her husband used drugs when she reported the incident to the police. He used to torture her severely when he was drunk. During interrogation, Kanchan acknowledged concealing 20 sleeping pills in her husband’s dinner on the evening of February 21. She asserted that she repeatedly attacked her husband with an axe before fatally severing his genitalia with a sharp object. After killing her husband, Kanchan wrapped his body in clothes and dumped it by the side of the road. In addition, the accused woman set fire to the deceased’s clothing and slippers in an effort to obliterate the evidence.
Accused has been arrested by police
Police records indicate that Kanchan Gurjar was Birendra Gurjar’s fifth wife. Due to Birendra’s intimidation, four of his wives had already deserted him. The accused has been arrested by police and is being held in jail.
