MCD Schools: The AAP administration will renovate all MCD schools in the capital city during the next five to seven years, said Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday. The Delhi CM asserted that AAP-led MCD improved Delhi’s public schools to dismantle the achievement gap between the city’s wealthy and poor residents.
AAP bridged the gap between rich and poor in schools
He said that it has considerably superior classrooms, labs, libraries, and halls than private institutions in Delhi do. “Government schools in Delhi used to be in awful shape earlier. Classes were held in tents, and school ceilings were damaged. There were no restrooms, facilities, or even access to water. “The AAP government closed the education gap between the rich and the poor in Delhi, where poor families were forced to send their children to such schools,” Kejriwal added.

MCD schools top priority for AAP
The Delhi CM added that the Delhi Municipal Corporation’s (MCD) schools have been a priority for the AAP government. “It will take at least five to seven years to completely renovate the MCD schools, on which we have begun to concentrate. We are also concentrating on the problem of people with good educations but are jobless. Youth work possibilities would be our top priority,” he said.
