Meerut News: And finally the trial runs for the rapidX trains have begun. The trial have started from Sahibabad to Duhai Depot. According to sources, these trains will cover the distance in merely 12 minutes. The trains are currently running in practice session between 6am to 11pm in a span of 15 minutes to check the glitches during the journey. The train services on the Sahibabad to Duhai Depot is likely to begin soon. These RapidX trains will be fully operational in the city by the year 2025.
Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut stretch will be covered in 60 mins
Once the trains are completely operational, the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut stretch of 82 km will be covered in 60 minutes. These trains will be arriving on the stations at a time span of 5-10 minutes. The most important section of the RapidX Train will have five stations- Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai and Duhai Depot. The Duhai Depot will be the connecting station among all the other stations.
The Next trial will be on the Gurgaon Alwar Route
After finishing off on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut line, these trains will begin their trials on the Gurgaon-Alwar-Delhi-Panipat route. The first project will be built in three stages, and will start from Sarai kale Khan in Delhi to Urban Complex.
